CAÑIHUA
Cañihua is an Andean grain of great nutritional value that grows up to 4,200 meters above sea level, mainly in the Peruvian highlands. It has a high protein content (up to 15.23%) as well as essential amino acids. It is a versatile and energetic food of considerable food and nutritional value for human consumption, being widely used in the form of noodles, flour, energy bars and chips; it also does not contain saponins.
